Made for Maryites is a sisterhood connection instrument that will allow Maryites to display their spirit, show their Cougar pride and deepen their relationship with SMA.
What’s in the Box?
Every box has uniquely crafted and hand selected items for Maryites. The identity of the items for each box isn’t revealed prior to the release of the box. You will love your Maryite items!
How to Subscribe?
Currently, the option to subscribe is per box. There are only 4 box release dates per year – Winter Box, Spring Box, Summer Box and Fall Box. Information to subscribe for each box is released via Email and the SMA Alumnae Association’s Social Media. You may also check our website regularly for updates. Complete the form and click the link in the form to make your payment. Your order is not considered complete until payment is received. Please include Summer Box in the comment on your payment.

When placing your order, please specify if you would like your box shipped and where to ship it. Shipping costs $10.00 per box. Please make sure to include your shipping fee with your box price. Shipping must be paid in order for the box to be shipped.

What is the Legacy Project?
For over one hundred and fifty years, St. Mary’s Academy has served the communities of New Orleans. Excellence in education and spiritual elevation has been the foundation of our mission. Established in 1867 by the Sisters of the Holy Family, St. Mary’s Academy has produced some of the most successful and influential women of our time.
The number of catholic elementary schools that served our children prior to Hurricane Katrina has drastically diminished. The restructuring of our educational system introduce new challenges that require new and creative solutions.
The “Legacy Project” is an initiative that focuses on bringing graduates together in an ambitious effort to promote the legacy of St. Mary’s Academy. The mission is to develop and implement a plan that will reinvigorate and revitalize our school. This plan will encourage graduates to recognize the vital role they play in the school’s future. The plan will include but is not limited to the following:
- Increasing Alumnae Involvement
- Increasing School Enrollment
- Building Scholarship Endowment
- Marketing School
Many sacrifices have been made by the Sisters of the Holy Family to continue serving our children.
