about us admissions on campus news & calendar supporting STM alumnae

Preserving memories of yesteryear has long since been the passion of alum Lynne Adams Barze’. In 1999, after 30 years as a civilian employee for the Department of Defense, she retired and moved to Carriere, MS along with her husband Ted to live their dream of owning a home on acreage and opening an Antique store.  The realization of that dream came to fruition when they opened Barze’ Place Antique and Collectible Mall in Picayune, MS.

Boasting the collective efforts of over 30 dealers in 73 rented spaces, Barze’ Place is enormous and encompasses nearly 6000 square feet of fun for the serious collector and the new enthusiast of collectible finds. Some of the most rare and well preserved vintage glass pieces can be found at the mall as well as a host of other collections from around the world.

Lynne is a graduate of Delgado Community College with an ABS degree in Business Studies. In her spare time she writes poetry and has been published in the Picayune Writer’s Corner on topics of nature, global warming, pets and family.
