The Teaching of Student Builders

How do you get students interested in careers in design and building? Teach them the ropes from the ground up, says representatives from the building and design teams currently constructing the new St. Mary's Academy. Visiting the school recently, the construction team from Satterfield and Pontikes, Doucette Builders and Rozas Ward Architects, acquainted students in the Summer Enrichment program with different facets of the trade. Students also visited the construction site to get a 'birds-eye" view of the project.
