"Class of 68 Celebrate Reunion - "The Cycle of Life

The reunion was a weekend of fun and excitement as we celebrated "The Cycle of Life".  It took place July 4th, 5th, 6th.  Several of us reserved rooms at the Hilton Hotel Riverside to meet and greet. 

That Friday, July 4th, we met up for dinner at Harrah's Casino where we enjoyed the fine selection of foods and reminiscing about our years at SMA.  That Saturday, July 5th, we enjoyed the Empowerment Sessions from the Essence Festival going on that day and later that night enjoyed the great entertainment by some renown artist.  Then Sunday, July 6th we engaged in an atmosphere of mellow music at Kabby's on the Hilton for brunch. 

Some of the Maryites returned to SMA to visit with the nuns and to view the aftermath from Katrina and the heart-breaking view of not seeing our Alma Mater as we remembered.  The weather cooperated the entire weekend and we were 25 in number.

All of us that were present at one event or the other are looking forward to meeting yearly because "Life" is not guaranteed to anyone.  The bounding was phenomenal!
