Therese M. Badon, '83

Named UNCF Area Development Director

The New Orleans office of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) recently announced the appointment of Maryite Therese M. Badon, '83 to the position of Area Development Director for Louisiana and Arkansas, in the New Orleans area office.

She comes to us from a UNCF member institution, Dillard University, where she held the position of Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. Prior to working at Dillard, Therese had a long, successful career in the banking and finance industry.

Therese is a UNCF graduate, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Dillard University. She was a Kresge Advancement Fellow from 1999-2004 and currently serves on the Alumni Relations Commission for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). She is also a notary public for the City of New Orleans and St. Tammany parishes.
