St. Mary’s Academy is proud of its unique legacy. Founded one hundred and thirty nine years ago by the Sisters of the Holy Family, its mission of preparing its students to think critically and act responsibly in a global society remains intact. Simply put, our goal is the total development of the entire person, be it physical, mental, social, moral, spiritual or intellectual.

Our success is due in part to the involvement of our parents and Executive Board, many of which are alumnae, parents, or business leaders. Likewise, SMA’s student leadership also plays an integral role in determining the life of the school. Students are encouraged to perfect their talents and join the myriad of extracurricular activities that are designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow.
